Fine powders and flakes can easily over-aerate, which can reduce material feed efficiency in high-pressure pneumatic conveying applications.

That's why ACS Valves designed the BT Series Blow-Through Feeder/Airlock: to ensure optimal bulk density and throughput of hard-to-convey materials.

How?

The BT Series decreases excess aeration of the material during conveying with an integrated vent port on the return side of the valve housing that automatically vents air leakage. This design element maximizes the flow path of air through the rotor pocket, improving material pocket release. And with minimal air leakage, the resulting low, effective pressure drop of the BT Series optimizes material flow density, improves material conveying efficiency, and reduces total compressed air consumption.

With the right equipment, no material has to be hard to convey.
