The CNC Operator will be joining a fast growing CNC department and will be responsible for creating quality parts produced on CNC machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines.

Job Description

  • Study and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Load parts, operate controls, set offsets, perform edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
  • Lift and position work pieces, manually or with hoists/jib crane.
  • Communicates with lead hand for assignments and resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
  • Report deviations and all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor.
  • Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong commitment to the performance of quality work.
  • Well organized, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated & results oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Positive attitude is a must.
