Mechanical Assembler (RVD)

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for completing the production process efficiently according to established procedures. As part of the assembly team, the mechanical assembler will perform the final assembly, testing, and prep the Valves for shipping.

Job Description

  • Interpret engineer drawings and specifications.
  • Fasten or install wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolt, screw, and rivet parts together, using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect, operate, and test completed machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications.
  • Set and verify parts clearances rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
  • Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Mechanical Assembly and in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
