1. Internal coatings Our factory-applied coatings (such as tungsten) prevent imperfections and surface cavities caused by material wear. They also help to reduce contaminant build up and to improve flow of hard-to-convey materials.
   
   
2. Sloped planes and rounded edges
   We cast slopes and round edges into the valve to ensure material flow, reduce material build-up and prevent dead zones.
   
   
3. Stainless steel housings, cast in North America
   Polished to a No. 4 finish, our stainless steel valves are cast in North America and CNC-machined for precise tolerances. The superior quality and strength of composition and solidification of housing metallurgy prevents stress cracks where contaminants can accumulate.
   
   
4. Glandless, Sleeve-style shaft seal
   Our Teflon shaft seal has a triple barrier design to prevent the cleanup and contamination risk that comes from bearing seal leaks. It also eliminates the need for gland packing and time-consuming pusher plate adjustments.
